| Through this FMEA training– Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, EXEGENS® provides you the approach of the breakdowns in the system. FMEA is an engineering technique used to define, identify and remove the breakdowns from the system, the potential and/ or known errors or problems. FMEA direction is to design processes so that customers are not affected. All standards of Advanced Product Quality Planning provide structured methods for defining and establishing the steps necessary to ensure that the product meets the requirements of the customers. The Control Plans helps products quality being consistent with customer requirements and apriori standards. The Control Plans provide the structural approach for design, selection and implementation of control methods for the added value in the whole system. A company that targets at a high level of quality must use FMEA in the Advanced Quality Planning Processes and in the development of their control plans. Through this FMEA training it is presented the main objective which is the addressing ways in which a product or a process can "collapse". A "fall" of a product or a process is when this can not work as default. In the real life of the companies there are a multitude of "opportunities" for the system to "collapse". FMEA in 10 steps. 2) Introduction to Design FMEA (DFMEA). Purpose of DFMEA (Boundary Diagram, Interface Matrix, P-diagram). Function DFMEA. Failure modes DFMEA. Severity. Analysis of DFMEAfailure causes. Occurrence DFMEA. DFMEA Control. Risk Priority Number (RPN). 3) Process FMEA (PFMEA). Process FMEA Form. Purpose of PFMEA (Process flow MACRO&MICRO). Characteristic Matrix (connexion between DFMEA and PFMEA). Function PFMEA (identifying functions / process needs, examples). Failure modes PFMEA (identify the failure modes, the list of effects). Day II 3) Severity (Ranking table, classification, actions). Analysis of the PFMEA failure modes (Ishikawa Diagram, Why questions, Brainstorming, example). 4) Occurrence PFMEA (how to identify, ranking table, classification, actions). PFMEA Control (prevention / detection, ranking tables, classification, actions). Risk Priority Number (RPN) and identify actions to be taken. PFMEA outputs.
